Wastewater treatment is a process used to convert wastewater into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with minimum impact on the environment, or directly reused. The latter is called water reclamation because treated wastewater can then be used for other purposes. The treatment process takes place in a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), often referred to as a Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) or a sewage treatment plant. Pollutants in municipal wastewater (households and small industries) are removed or broken down.
The treatment of wastewater is part of the overarching field of sanitation. Sanitation also includes the management of human waste and solid waste as well as stormwater (drainage) management. 1. Cost factor

2. Remember the importance of pump maintenance.
If one of your pumps stopped/malfunction, it affects other process as water backs up. The other pumps would have to increase its speed to make up for it. If you lost two pumps or so, the remaining pumps would barely be able to keep up at a normal peak flow. You don’t want these things to happen. With our preventive maintenance, you will be able to have your pump running at optimum speed, hassle-free.
3. Monitor your pump performance.
If you realise a pump behaving strangely, try this: Feel/touch the volute. Other than the heat circulator pumps or some of the ones in the digester building up, all pumps should feel cool if they are pumping. If a pump is warm, your pump is potentially getting clogged up. On the other hand, if centrifugal pump is used, problems are much more likely to occur on the suction side. Also, always make sure the seal water is on before putting a pump on line.
